INVASION

Everyone talks about Romeo and Juliet

That they died for each other in the name of love

Love that is blind and reckless

If only it wasn't inevitable, I would walk away from it

I tried to put it aside to focus on my own adventures

The cold chills that pulsed around my body

An invasion of butterflies took the cold away

The eyes are the doors to the soul

I could stare but you could hold back

In a group of many, you are a social butterfly

I am stuck in one position like a statue

Unconsciously we prove the first law of Kepler 

It is unfair that you are within my peripheral 

I don't do sports but my heart is always on the run

Don't look at me like an easy target

If you mean it even for two seconds

Sparks will fly

But I heard wild cards are your favourites

And that I look like a nun

I won't jump off a roof if your eyes turn else where

But while you still spare me a once-over

Don't let your eyes deceive you

I could turn your nightmares into paradise

You could be Sooha and I could your Heli who always looks for you

Just like you are slowly conquering my thoughts

Take a step forward 

And let's forget everybody else
