Don't talk about significance to me

Don't talk about significance to me

7 billion people on a single planet

Billions of dreams created and destroyed every day

With millions of people born and others dying every day

Significance a term many don't own in their dictionaries

With a pre-planned reality and no escape from slavery

Surviving the only word in people's minds and happiness tied to materials

In a system well designed for no man's prosperity but administrators control

Being born serves less purpose as liability is your definition

And if any importance is tied to your name, an experiment is all you are

Lab rats being controlled and kept in the illusion of happiness and success

The ones you call role models are the ones planning your life

Showing you what your life should look like

Giving you false hope and dreams weighed on a scale, keeping you on a routine

Try standing out and you'll see men standing up to intimidate you

Back in the days when these hypocritical systems were yet a vision

Every man stood up and power was felt

But now, men have opened cocoons and accepted the plans of the greedy

Children are born and raised to fit the working quality of an industrial worker

Dreams and talents completely forgotten and undermined

Parents fearing failure of their children causing unhappiness instead

The rebellious child with a dream, a successful man of the future

The obeying child with or without a dream, an unhappy citizen of the future

Significance has lost its value

In a world where every man wants to become superman with no effort, significance has lost its identity

With every man calling their laziness a right

Vomiting out numerous profanities in the name of freedom of speech

Humans have totally lost their minds

Little do some know that the media they use records their moves

Fighting for privacy rights in a transactional era

With only sugarcoated lies and promises do they sit down

Buying the recorders themselves to achieve a seemingly better life than the neighbor

Bragging about things they don't own

Trapped in the game of a mastermind

And hoping for a future they have no say in

Jumping to the little papers they earn

And the big visions they envision but can't work for

Generations of dreamers and lazy morons

Always talking as though any one cares

Social media made their nonsense worse

Spending hours in front of their screens

In front of loners and suckers who have nothing better to do

Don't talk significance to me
