I can't understand what people are saying

I am surrounded by theories about me

I am starting to doubt who I am

I am letting their words in

The void in my heart is growing

"You can't value people's opinions" someone said

But they are my rock for survival

All I can feel is my legs shaking

Have I been living two lives?

The me on the cameras looks too happy and fulfilled

Is that fair to the me behind cameras?

Played over and over in the back of my mind

Does it matter who they think I am?

And a smile found its way to my face
