Isotopes

isotopes

Three girls walking down the street

Different clothes but similar skins

Moving like three isotopes

Similar characteristics but different masses

Considered as independent atoms by watchers

Regardless the intersecting characteristics

But the human standard approval ratio has its own defaults

That were set by those wanting to save themselves

Of the three, two are invalid entries

Like carbon 13 and 14

The three girls giggling innocently at their own conversation

Dreaming about their futures

Wondering whether they will be the next totally spies

In a discriminating system fighting for justice

If only that choice was at their mercy

Maybe isotopes would fight for their differences too

The three girls don’t know what awaits them

In an unpredictable life and unfair systems

Who knows which mass will survive the standardisation

And thrive to build the desired future
