Call out to Merlin
I call out to Merlin
I call out to the greatest of sorcerers
I am in need of a portion
I hope Gaius’s spell book is resourceful enough
I hope that he hasn’t lost his strength
I have a wish to make
I am conflicted by these muggle desires
I can’t seem to let them go
With nothing but a pen and paper
Below the floor the reason of these feelings
Seated unable to complete tasks at hand
Staring at the green environment of the rainy season
Wondering if we stare at the same tree
Hoping probability flipped with right coins
Unleashing a future unforgettable
Oh dear Merlin, where are you?
The walls around me feel like a cage
They seem to limit my ability to let go of thoughts
Something shines on the ground I stare
There I see eyes staring right back at mine
Merlin, why do I feel this way?
Are you even listening?
I think I imagined the smile in the mirror
He will be the death of me
Ariane Dushime
Note:
Beautiful memories of high school. Slowly I get to see that my life wasn't so boring.
