Her Anthem

HER ANTHEM

Black was her favourite colour
Pink was the colour of her soul
Yet to the others she looked so blue

Her interests lied within art
Her talent had a lot of words
Yet she was the quietest of them all

The cute and calm nature masked
All those wild dreams and imaginations
Yet she seemed drama-less

Her fear was the limelight
Confrontation and judgment increased her traumas
Her inability to stand for herself dimmed her

You can wrong her all you want
Forgiving was easy but forgetting was war
Yet she still smiled around you

Her soul was one of a kind
Her beauty might have been questionable
But her personality was an example

No matter what the world has
She is ready to face it
Her fragile looks lie to you
Like they say "don't judge a book by its cover".
